Of course I don't know what I will use this fabric for- it was a vest that I picked up at the thrift store last week... but I am sure one day it will be used by me or swapped. I was thinking of using the motif for a tissue holder or some small project. The mickey's are silk and about the size of a quarter.
...Now if I can only get that silly song out of my head. And I bet I passed it on to YOU now! *snicker snicker*

Yesterday in the mail I received a Priority Mail envelope stuffed to the gills with buttons. My dear friend Marie had sent them to me. We have been friends since 1986ish and were roommates in the Army. When she entered my 'world' I had my own room in the barracks and I wasn't too happy that someone was going to be encroaching on my space. =) Another friend had told me, 'Cheer up kiddo, she will probably become your best friend." Well, 20 years later we laugh at how I didn't want her to be my room mate.
(Is it kind of ironic that as I type this post the song 'Old Friends' is playing on my computer from the Gaither Homecoming CD.)

On the contrary...
A few years ago I was visiting with a dear friend and I commented about the buttons on her jacket. I also mentioned that when she decided to get rid of the jacket I would love to have those buttons! They were Caesar's Cameo on a red background.
Fast Forward to last month when we were in the States and she told me she had something for me...
Aren't they cool? =)
I switched browsers from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and it has fixed the problem. The speed of surfing is so much faster and I am able to upload pics which makes me a happy camper!
