Paisley!

I worked on a paisley this weekend and was surprised how little time it actually took. Usually on the weekends I don't even pick up a needle. I took the outline of the paisley from Carole Samples Treasury of Crazy Quilt Stitches. The outline is pearl cotton size 8 and then for the remaining I used pearl cotton size 12. Thanks to Jo in NZ for the tutorial on the paisleys. I really had fun doing them and I see more in the future. =)

  3. I did start with only the outline and stitched freehand. It was surprising how fast it took to stitch.

  9. What a pretty design, Lillian. You do such great work. I noticed that paisley in CS's book, but haven't tried it yet... If it's that addictive maybe I'd better not :-).
